Prepare For Your Appointment

And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

Hebrews 9:27

How much of your time do you give to God ?

Were the 4 women killed in the Keys wearing seat belts? Cops say it wouldn’t matter

Margarita Cortes-Pardo, 31, from Illes Balears, Spain; Maria Lopez-Bermejo Rossello, 31, and Teresa Sanchez Quetglas, 30, both from from Mallorca, Spain; and Ana Gaitan Diaz, 31, from Cordoba, Spain.

~~~
They came together for a happy & fun vacation not knowing that they were coming to Florida to die.
They had their whole lives ahead of them and most likely gave little thought of preparing for eternity and standing before God and judgment day.
These four were headed north on US 1 and slowed down to make a left turn, and that was the end of their young lives.
Lately I've been reading and hearing too many of these stories every day.
Way too many are without hope, depressed, giving up on life, not seeking the Lord Jesus of all hope, the Way, the Truth, and the Life and committing suicide.
And it's usually those too young to die who are gone in an instant.
That is never an escape, it is the worst and most regrettable decision you can make.
Call upon the Lord who gives hope to all who ask Him.
A 21 year old woman out for an evening bike ride did not know she was making her final appointment.
The Florida Highway Patrol has identified the bicyclist killed in a traffic accident with a motorcycle on Saturday night as Yadira Peres, 21, of Newberry.
I wonder how much time or thought all of these departed souls gave to God in their lives because that is all that matters in this very,very, very short life.
Give Him your time, your life, your love, your soul, your sins, and He will look out for you.
They made sure to have insurance but not the kind that really matters.
I do not believe they asked Jesus to look out for them and sadly they are gone way too early
We all need to be ready every day to stand before God to give an account of our lives.
The only insurance that will cover this appointment is having all of your  sins covered by the blood of Jesus Christ, serving Him and living for Him every day.
I try and pray every day for Him ( the giver of life) to lead me (should I go or should I stay home?) and keep me safe.
It just might be that He will keep you from too early a departure.
Behold (pay close attention), all souls are Mine; the soul of the father as well as the soul of the son is Mine. The soul who sins will die.
Perfect scriptures, Life here is so, so short, temporary and few prepare for the long term home we will inhabit FOREVER.
Thanks brother.
Deciding to go to Key West was a fatal, final error for them.
...........
So the Lord loves those who fear and worship Him [with awe-filled respect and deepest reverence].
For He knows our [mortal] frame;
He remembers that we are [merely] dust.
As for man, his days are like grass;
Like a flower of the field, so he flourishes.
For the wind passes over it and it is no more,
And its place knows it no longer.
But the lovingkindness of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who [reverently] fear Him,
And His righteousness to children’s children,
To those who honor and keep His covenant,
And remember to do His commandments [imprinting His word on their hearts].
Psalms 103
