Many people in Nepal are now waking up to the useless and powerless gods of Hinduism and finding Jesus who truly loves them and sets them free as well as healing many of them for free, without charging them $.
The Good news, hearing how Jesus is saving many souls from bondage to false gods who keep the people enslaved to the darkness.
Of course Satan will fight this as we can see with the headline the guardian chose to use (which I didn't use).
Ram Maya Sunar became a Christian after her two children died
Ram Maya Sunar had two miscarriages. Then she had a daughter, who died of pneumonia when she was one. “My second child died from tuberculosis at just six months. I’m still haunted by it,” Sunar says, sitting outside her concrete block hut in the village of Thakaldanda, in southern Nepal’s Makwanpur district.
When she became pregnant again, Sunar sought out an unlikely remedy. Rather than call the local shamans, as she had done before, she joined a church.
The 35-year-old, a Hindu, converted to Christianity and gave birth to a healthy daughter, and later a son. “They are my gifts from God,” she says.

It is Dalits, and other marginalised groups, who are leading a surge in the growth of Christianity in Nepal.

Marcel,
I'm in Jeremiah now, and the parallels between Israel on the brink of destruction and the US right now are sobering. I'm actually reading the whole book as a commentary on the current state of our nation and people, especially of the state of the church:
"Then I said: “Ah, Lord God, behold, the prophets say to them, ‘You shall not see the sword, nor shall you have famine, but I will give you assured peace in this place.’” And the Lord said to me: “The prophets are prophesying lies in my name. I did not send them, nor did I command them or speak to them. They are prophesying to you a lying vision, worthless divination, and the deceit of their own minds. Therefore thus says the Lord concerning the prophets who prophesy in my name although I did not send them, and who say, ‘Sword and famine shall not come upon this land’: By sword and famine those prophets shall be consumed.
GOOD to hear you are deep into Jeremiah. The LORD had me in Jeremiah for a very long time and it has shaped and greatly influenced my walk with the Lord.
It is also why I am more concerned about pleasing God and not so much pleasing man.
What was a real eye opener for me was near the end when the very few survivors asked Jeremiah to pray for them and what ensued.
It always plays out the same just as you see in Jeremiah and America today. The Church, it's leaders (except for a few) is powerless, effeminate, cowardly and wimpy.
What will these cowardly leaders and their blind followers do when things get really tough ?
and this is why those false prophets who talk about revival are lying, deceivers. The word of God talks about a falling away.
Jeremiah Taken to Egypt- Chapter 43
When Jeremiah finished speaking to all the people all these words of the Lord their God, with which the Lord their God had sent him to them, 2 Azariah the son of Hoshaiah and Johanan the son of Kareah and all the insolent men said to Jeremiah, “You are telling a lie. The Lord our God did not send you to say, ‘Do not go to Egypt to live there,’
Thanks for sharing this with us, it's going to repeat again with the pride deluded, apostate Christians in America.
