THE $EED OF BETRAYAL

When Jesus had finished this discourse, He said to His disciples,

“You know that the Passover is coming in two days, and the Son of Man is to be betrayed and handed over for crucifixion.”
Then the chief priests and the elders of the people gathered in the courtyard of the [elegant home of the Jewish] high priest, whose name was Caiaphas,  and plotted together to arrest Jesus by stealth and kill Him. 
But they said, “It must not be during the festival (Passover), otherwise there might be a riot among the people.” 
 

Now when Jesus was [back] in Bethany, at the home of Simon the leper, a woman came to Him with an alabaster vial of very expensive perfume and she poured it on Jesus’ head as He reclined at the table. 

But when the disciples saw it they were indignant and angry, saying, 

“Why all this waste [of money]? For this perfume might have been sold at a high price and the money given to the poor.” 

But Jesus, aware [of the malice] of this [remark], said to them, “Why are you bothering the woman? She has done a good thing to Me. For you always have the poor with you; but you will not always have Me. 

When she poured this perfume on My body, she did it to prepare Me for burial. I assure you and most solemnly say to you, wherever this gospel [of salvation] is preached in the whole world, what this woman has done will also be told in memory of her [for her act of love and devotion].”


Then one of the twelve [disciples], who was called Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests and said, “What are you willing to give me if I hand Jesus over to you?”

And they weighed out thirty pieces of silver. And from that moment Judas began looking for an opportune time to betray Jesus.

Money/Greed - THE $EED OF BETRAYAL


Most have heard the saying 'Money makes the world go round' as well as 'The love of money is the root of all evil'.

You can often tell what God people serve.
Their time, thoughts and words focus on what is in their hearts. Most of the time it's everything but God. 
With the Washington Sewer Republicans and Democrats, including Trump, it's serving corrupt interest$, self, power and money, greed.  

Trump reveals his true god, with his focus on jobs, economy, deals, profits, making godless reprobate unrepentant America GREAT without returning to the Way, the Truth, and the Life, Jesus Christ.

The things of God like holiness, repentance fear of God, His will above our selfish driven agenda are never mentioned or just given cheap, empty lip service to deluded the delusional, apostate Christian.    

For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

Either Jesus has your whole heart ....or money does.
Has the love of money, stuff  taken root in a corner or in a large part of your heart ?


The American Dream is truly a curse when it comes to the saints missing the Kingdom of God.

This is what had led to a dead, polluted, corrupted, empty, powerless church and why so many foolish virgins have chased after their Mammon King Trump and right into a trap where God's judgments, GREAT misery and persecution awaits the dual citizens of Babel and Heaven, where only one citizenship is permitted.

It does not matter who leads filthy, utterly corrupt America Babylon
it's all corrupt & rotten to the core since turning away from the Light!

Most Christians in America serve two masters as we see with Evangelicals and their love of Mammon King Trump whom they see as their replacement savior to save America and their stash of stuff.
There is coming a GREAT falling away as Jesus warned, especially when the deceived foolish virgins realize that they are still here when the mark of the beast is rolled out.
They won't be able to let go of their cherished idol and will have flunked their last test from God.

My hope and prayers is that many double minded lovers of this world and lukewarm lovers of Jesus will wake up before this.
