How did Israel let this happen ?
It's simple, Israel was too busy with other, more important, filthy pursuits to attract the wicked nations.
The missiles of Hezbollah, Hamas and Iran have a destination already determined for them to strike.
I sure would not want to be living in Tel Aviv.
God shall judge mans wickedness again, He has before with terrifying and tragic consequences for all, and He will do the same again. Stubborn, rebellious man never learns and meets the same judgments again and again from the beginning of history.
Man has once again grown more wicked, but God has not changed, not one bit.
How did the U.S. let this happen ?
It's simple, America's violence, it's evil and perverted examples to the rest of the world will come to an end.
That is one fact that God has promised, one that no election, no president and no defensive weapon will be able to thwart.
There has to be a reason why 'great leader' Obama has been impotent and incapable of stopping North Korea's drive to strike the U.S.
Just as impotent as Clinton and Bush were unable to stop North Korea in their 16 years of impotent 'superpower' rule.
Superpower -What an overrated label for the failed empire. After having spent trillions of $ in Afghanistan and Iraq, both places are worse off now then they were before US intervention.
Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it
When was the last time (or ever) did your Pastor or Rabbi speak or preach on this very pertinent to today warning from God to his 'out of control' creation ?
If they did, did they call God a liar and just water down the warning, turning it into a cheap Santa Claus god message, a shallow, phony love fest where there is no accountability for our actions, ignoring what a holy God expects from His creation ?
|No matter how much lipstick you put on|
mans wickedness, God say's it's evil.
His declaration stands forever
For if God did not [even] spare angels that sinned, but threw them into hell and sent them to pits of gloom to be kept [there] for judgment;
and if He did not spare the ancient world, but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, with seven others, when He brought [the judgment of] a flood upon the world of the ungodly;
and if He condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to destruction by reducing them to ashes, having made them an example to those who would live ungodly lives thereafter;
and if He rescued righteous Lot, who was tormented by the immoral conduct of unprincipled and ungodly men
(for that just man, while living among them, felt his righteous soul tormented day after day by what he saw and heard of their lawless acts),
then [in light of the fact that all this is true, be sure that] the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trial, and how to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgment,
and especially those who indulge in the corrupt passions of the sin nature, and despise authority.
Presumptuous and reckless, self-willed and arrogant [creatures, despising the majesty of the Lord], they do not tremble when they revile angelic majesties,
whereas even angels who are superior in might and power do not bring a reviling (defaming) accusation against them before the Lord.
But these [false teachers], like unreasoning animals, [mere] creatures of instinct, born to be captured and destroyed, reviling things they do not understand, will also perish in their own corruption [in their destroying they will be destroyed],
suffering wrong [destined for punishment] as the wages of doing wrong. They count it a delight to revel in the daytime [living luxuriously]
They are stains and blemishes [on mankind], reveling in their deceptions even as they feast with you.
They have eyes full of adultery, constantly looking for sin, enticing and luring away unstable souls. Having hearts trained in greed, [they are] children of a curse.
Abandoning the straight road [that is, the right way to live], they have gone astray; they have followed the way of [the false teacher] Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the reward of wickedness; but he was rebuked for his own transgression: a mute donkey spoke with a man’s voice and restrained the prophet’s madness.
2 Peter 2
The time to fear God and dump the sin is here, that is what the Passover is all about.
A cleansing, an acceptable to God covering for our sin, payment in full by the sinless, spotless Lamb of God for all our sins against a holy God... who is watching and knows our hearts better than we know them.
