We don't hear the reality of 'the burning anger of the Lord' or 'the day of the anger of the Lord' in the Laodecian church today.
For God to mention it twice it's so important for us to know that too many have banked of God's love and mercy and ignored how He always deals with sin, especially in His own house.
What stood out even more for me is;
'seek righteousness; seek humility;
perhaps you may be <HIDDEN
on the day of the anger of the Lord.
That tells me hiding ourselves is futile unless it is the Lord doing the hiding for us.
That is where I am focusing with righteousness and humility, as I sense that the "hiding time" begins.
"Seek the Lord, all you humble of the land,
who do his just commands"
So many are stressed out and on edge today, ready to melt.
Thanks for sharing this key instruction for peace and safety in our lives , especially after seeing how so easily panicked and fearful so many were today in London with the false report of gunshots in the subway.
