The failure and incompetence of the UN is breathtaking, especially when it comes to stopping Nuclear proliferation.
I believe there are more wars going on now than before the UN (useless nations) was invented by the US ?
If you take a look at all the failed UN sanctions against North Korea going back decades you have to come to the realization that the UN is a totally worthless global organization and reveals the utter failure of humanity to do anything good or constructive about anything.
The UN reveals the utter failure of the human species !
Now I understand why Kim Jung Un is always laughing now days.

UN security council warns North Korea to stop nuclear tests or face sanctions
The UN security council has strongly condemned North Korea’s latest missile test and threatened to impose new sanctions against Pyongyang for its “highly destabilizing behavior”.

UN security council warns North Korea to stop nuclear tests or face sanctions
The UN security council has strongly condemned North Korea’s latest missile test and threatened to impose new sanctions against Pyongyang for its “highly destabilizing behavior”.

The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) has adopted 21 resolutions concerning North Korea. Five resolutions were adopted during the Korean War in the 1950s. In 1991, a single resolution was adopted regarding North Korea's accession to membership in the United Nations (UN). Through 1990s–2010s, 15 resolutions have been adopted in relation to the North Korean missile and nuclear program, most recently in November 2016.
