More, More, More, No More

Behold, the name of the Lord comes from far, burning with his anger, and the burden thereof is heavy: his lips are full of indignation, and his tongue as a devouring fire:
And his breath, as an overflowing stream, shall reach to the midst of the neck, to sift the nations with the sieve of vanity: and there shall be a bridle in the jaws of the people, causing them to err.

Those who are deep into acquiring stuff and more stuff are on a downward spiral.
Only this week individual IRA accounts have lost $10,000.00. That is this week and we're only in the middle of it.
If you have put your money and faith in the dazed and confused financial experts instead of God, you're soon to learn the painful outcome of misplaced faith.
God will not bless what is cursed, and America has gone full tilt to reject God and his blessings and embrace everything cursed.
The majority voted twice for the crazy man in the White House who promised them hope and change. You've got the change now minus the hope.
You didn't want to see that he was a pathological liar because you didn't want to hear the truth. You wanted to be lied to and here you are now, where the pain and suffering only begins to dig deep into your life.
You have no one to blame but yourself because you made mammon,wealth,stuff, your god and built your life on a pile of sand now being washed out to sea.

“Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them, may be compared to a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock. Everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not act on them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. The rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and it fell—and great was its fall.”
Matthew 7:24-27

More calamity, more disasters, more pain and suffering. That's what happens when people turn away from God's blessings and run after the many curses.
Deut. 28
Last Sunday I talked to a man and his wife. I told him it was too late to save America, that this nation had crossed the line. He strongly disagreed, saying never give up hope, never stop fighting.
For someone who claimed to believe in Jesus his hope is in Donald Trump who is in battle against a corrupt, reprobate system that he himself is a part of.

Donald, the arrogant one, serves the god of mammon. The fact that any follower of Jesus would be impressed by him or be seduced by him reveals the degree of spiritual corruption in the house of God.
Futility comes to mind for these deceived people.
My response to him was ; It's going to fail because the people are turning to Donald and not to God. He didn't want to hear that because it was the truth and truth gets in the way of people and their vain, futile imaginations.

 Sowing and Reaping 

Man is now reaping what he has sown, the violence, the rebellion against God, the lawlessness and corruption all have a  payment due date and that day is upon us.
Many believed it would never come and that everything would continue the same. How wrong,how foolish to think that God would not require justice of such great wickedness from a sinful people in open rebellion against Him.

Even the devil knows that his judgment is at hand

Upheaval, tumult,everything turned upside down, no more stability in the wicked system, doctors and police will not be able to save you. It's going to be extremely difficult for the foolish and the careless souls who put their trust in pathological liars (politicians) and in the system and that is the majority of God's people who say they trust Him but really don't.

Why are the nations in an uproar, and the people devising a vain thing?
Psalm 2:1

Vain- having no real value, idle, worthless, marked by futility,unsuccessful, useless, foolish, silly, conceited, FUTILE.

Humanity,mankind in these days of turmoil and upheaval is marked by his blind race off the cliff, his arrogance, incompetence, impotence, and futile attempts to circumvent God's judgments upon His earth and His creation for their wickedness.
As it was in the days of Noah, they could do nothing to stop the rising waters and they had no hope because the rebel planet, the godless and haters of God trusted in their vain and futile imaginations to save them.

Elijah had to trust God alone to feed and water him and not the corrupt government he pronounced God's judgment against, not even his own people.
God sent a raven to feed him.
Have you prepared, grown your faith for the time when only God will hear you ?
If you haven't given Him the time now, what makes you think He will listen when you call in time of trouble and distress ?
Dump the vain, empty pursuits of your life today, now and make time for the Lord, read His word and learn His ways, give up on this vain,dead American culture and seek the eternal Kingdom of God while there is yet time.
It is running out for many.

toil and trouble

I heard and my inward parts trembled, At the sound my lips quivered. Decay enters my bones, And in my place I tremble. Because I must wait quietly for the day of distress, For the people to arise who will invade us. Though the fig tree should not blossom And there be no fruit on the vines, Though the yield of the olive should fail And the fields produce no food, Though the flock should be cut off from the fold And there be no cattle in the stalls, Yet I will exult in the Lord, I will rejoice in the God of my salvation. The Lord God is my strength, And He has made my feet like hinds’ feet, And makes me walk on my high places.
Habakkuk 3:16-19

We've been promised trials and tribulation, but Jesus said He would take us through all of it if we look to Him. God won't give up on us if we don't give up on Him.

The trial of our faith

That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ.
