20 The rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands so as not to worship demons and the idols of gold, silver, brass, stone, and wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk; 21 and they did not repent of their murders, nor of their witchcraft, nor of their sexual immorality, nor of their thefts.
In these days of growing darkness, evil, and misery there is only 1 hope, only 1 thing to sing about. The rest is futile, hopeless, a dead end.
Christian's already know without any doubt how life began on planet earth, and because of sin and rebellion against a Holy God it is so cursed and getting worse by the day (we haven't seen anything yet) , full of misery & death, and how it's all going to end with no more curse, wars, disease and death.

The Seventh Seal: Trumpets
8 When the Lamb broke the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. 2 And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.
3 Another angel came and stood at the altar, holding a golden censer; and much incense was given to him, so that he might [a]add it to the prayers of all the [b]saints on the golden altar which was before the throne. 4 And the smoke of the incense ascended from the angel’s hand with the prayers of the [c]saints before God.5 Then the angel [d]took the [e]censer and filled it with the fire of the altar, and hurled it to the earth; and there were peals of thunder and sounds, and flashes of lightning and an earthquake.
6 And the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound them.
7 The first sounded, and there was hail and fire mixed with blood, and it was hurled to the earth; and a third of the earth was burned up, and a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up.

13 Then the sixth angel sounded, and I heard [i]a voice from the[j]four horns of the golden altar which is before God, 14 saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.” 15 And the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were released, so that they would kill a third of mankind.

Many Christian's and Ministries only present one part of the full counsel (message) of God, the easy part and leave out the end result of rejecting our only hope.
They will not tell you that this same baby Jesus, the Jewish Messiah who conquered death and sin for us ( our greatest enemies) is returning to end mankind's rebellion in a most dreadful way.
They need the $ and support so they don't want to scare anyone away.
Here is the only hope, true joy for humanity, not to be found in following bind, failed, corrupt leaders.

3 Remind them to be subject to rulers, to authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good deed, 2 to slander no one, not to be contentious, to be gentle, showing every consideration for all people. 3 For we too were once foolish, disobedient, deceived, enslaved to various lusts and pleasures, spending our life in malice and envy, hateful, hating one another. 4 But when the kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind appeared,5 He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we did in righteousness, but in accordance with His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, 6 whom He richly poured out upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 so that being justified by His grace we would be made heirs [a]according to the hope of eternal life. 8 This statement is trustworthy; and concerning these things I want you to speak confidently, so that those who have believed God will be careful to engage in good deeds. These things are good and beneficial for people. 9 But avoid foolish controversies and genealogies and strife and disputes about the Law, for they are useless and worthless.10 Reject a [b]divisive person after a first and second warning,11 knowing that such a person has deviated from what is right and is sinning, being self-condemned.
