The threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite in Jerusalem is where the Islamic Dome of the Rock now stands.
It is where the Jewish Temple stood.
Mount Zion, Mount Moriah, the place where Abraham prepared to sacrifice his son Issac before God provided the sacrifice, a prophetic foreshadowing of Messiah Jesus' death, burial and resurrection for our sins.
This is one of the most holy and important pieces of real estate on earth from God's vantage point.
Eventually He will remove the lie and abomination Dome of the Rock, that sits on that spot now.
Present day, foolish Israel is still stuck at the meaningless wall, the Kotel.
The Temple is not where the faith challenged Jews gather today, but at a meaningless wall.
I went into the Dome of the Rock back in the mid 1990's, and something that caught my attention;
In the center if you look over the circular wall that goes around (the center) there is a huge flat rock that is perfect for threshing. and this is where the Temple where the Jewish people came to sacrifice and worship the true living God once stood.
The threshing begins... again !

God used David's sin of pride in numbering Israel to set this place apart for Him and He will reclaim it from Satan soon.
David thought he was God, (a god) and began to take credit for what God had accomplished through him.
That is a BIG sin !

Census Brings Pestilence
So the Lord sent a pestilence on Israel; 70,000 men of Israel fell.
And God sent an angel to Jerusalem to destroy it; but as he was about to destroy it, the Lord saw and was sorry over the calamity, and said to the destroying angel, “It is enough; now relax your hand.” And the angel of the Lord was standing by the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.
At that time, when David saw that the Lord had answered him on the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite, he offered sacrifice there. For the tabernacle of the Lord, which Moses had made in the wilderness, and the altar of burnt offering were in the high place at Gibeon at that time.
But David could not go before it to inquire of God, for he was terrified by the sword of the angel of the Lord.

Be brave when the wind seems to kill you
and you believe to be abandoned.
Be brave when you step into the darkness,
because it will be short-lived.
Do not lose hope
because you carry the faith in Me deep in your heart.

however, you are always protected in My arms.

who seek a way out in the dark.
