Why Do Jews Toast L’Chaim—To Life?

So we know that toasting “to life” is (at least) 2,000 years old and is considered a Jewish custom.

Interesting how too often in pagan Catholicism Jesus is the baby in Momma Mary's arms and not the grown up Messiah.
The words from  Jesus  about His mother should wake up those who have been deceived by the crafty serpent ???
