While I was traveling in Italy many years ago, I was impressed by the Lord to skip Rome with the understanding that there are principalities of darkness which rule over certain places, especially deceiving religious spirits in places like Rome & Saudi Arabia, seats of evil and false religion, paganized Christianity and Islamic darkness.

Compromise with darkness is the order of the day. 

Is it any wonder why deep darkness is now covering the earth and so many Christians are going along with Mr. Compromise with evil, Trump, for the sake of his Mammon world view ? 

When  I was out of work, broke and desperate for a job, I was hired by Northrop in the late 70's to go to Saudi Arabia and train air force personnel. They flew me out to California to complete the details and after returning to Florida I was led to turn down the lucrative and very, VERY tempting $$$ offer. (for someone without two nickles to rub together) 

Another close to home example was a relative who was backpacking and her time in Kathmandu, Nepal did great damage to her psyche and soul. 
40 years later she's a major mental and physical mess, but I'm still praying for her
She must have visited those pagan temples and picked up demons of religious deception because after that she rejected Jesus Christ and embraced new age babelism, confusion, NWO, globalism, paganism, etc. 

The lesson here is if the Lord does not lead you, better stay home!

Praise God, I would not be where I am today if I had fallen onto the temptation to compromise for much needed gain$. 
It's not so bad to not keep up with the Jones'es who are blind and headed off the cliff.
