Pride Is Uzziah’s Undoing
But when he became strong, his heart was so proud that he acted corruptly, and he was unfaithful to the Lord his God, for he entered the temple of the Lord to burn incense on the altar of incense
2 Chronicles 26
Success always brings a test, a snare
If you do not navigate humbly through these dangerous waters, it destroys you just as it has destroyed so many before.
Watching and listening to Donald Trump, it's evident to me that he has not learned humility and Who to give thanks to (daily) for his great success.
Uzziah was sixteen years old when he became king, and he reigned fifty-two years in Jerusalem; and his mother’s name was Jechiliah of Jerusalem.
He did right in the sight of the Lord according to all that his father Amaziah had done.
He continued to seek God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding through the vision of God; and as long as he sought the Lord, God prospered him.
2 Chronicles 26
Today, after the LORD led me to read 2 Chronicles 24-28, Uzziah, King of Judah and his amazing success in building up Zion and defeating Judah's enemies stood out.
With King Uzziah, Donald Trump came to mind loud and clear.
He is a major test (judgment) for God's people chasing after false gods and worthless idols and not God.
I see him as a major accident waiting to happen, the Pride Piper Donald leading his supporters to great disaster.
As those who claim to have faith in God, we should be broken and humbled for the great wickedness our nations have embraced in rejecting God. We should be holding on to God and His word tightly and letting loose of what God will surely bring down.
The last thing Christian's should be doing is following someone who walks in the same proud and failed disastrous footsteps of King Uzziah.
It's a trap.
Ezekiel 9
is what and where we should be studying prayerfully and setting our hearts on, far away from the hubris of making America great again with no mention of national repentance or humbly seeking God.
Marel, powerfully spoken and not from flesh!
ReplyDeleteYou said " the Pride Piper leading his supporters to great disaster."
Those that have the same arrogant prideful spirit love to have it so .
Isaiah 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
Get the word out to those who need to hear
ReplyDeleteThere isn't a day that goes by that the warning isn't shouted from the rooftops.
ReplyDeleteThe hatred, rejection and the scoffing are a sure sign that we're smack in the midst of the apostasy . The sad reality of this all is , it's those sitting in the church , that are doing the persecuting !
"Make America great again? " Pffttttt . Right !
Sadly the delusion is strong and many are under it.
Yes, it's always the same.
ReplyDeleteThe Jews of Jeremiah's day accused him of being a traitor and all he was doing was relaying God's warning of what is on the way.
Make America great again, is the honey that exposes what is really in the hearts of the double minded and traps them in God's judgment.
How do you all know whats in his heart? Assuming, that is what everyone does. He attends church, and I heard him say that he does, but he seemed bewildered at the question, did you ask for forgiveness? Trump answered and was in a state of thought like he never thought of doing that, but he pondered the question. At least it was not no. And I think if you consider what you have left is satanists to vote for, at least he is not that, he don't belong to that group. That seems to be the most important base to consider. God's judgement is coming it is written, who will be left to be judged? All of us.
ReplyDeleteHow do you all know whats in his heart?

It doesn't matter who the people elect to skipper the Titanic, it's already below the waterline.
Marcel, I believe you nailed it. Old country song, How high is the water Mamma? It's rising.
ReplyDeleteAmazing how it's always the same, just like it was in Jeremiah's day.
DeleteThey all danced around the false prophets telling them proud things that always lead to judgment, and never humbling things that lead to repentance, and they refused to believe the truth that God sent Jeremiah to warn them about.
We're seeing it now ! again !
